phenomenon through photography, moving constantly
from diverse situations in Italy, Germany, Mexico and
China. It has been in 2008 when I decided to focus my
artistic research on issues that are straightly related to
my own personal experiences in a process of construction
and definition of identity. As result of a mixed marriage,
my mother from the Ladin minority group of the Italian
Alps and my father from South Italy, I was born in South-
Tyrol, a recently configured territory that is also constructing
its own identity. So I am trying to understand this complex
process of identity construction in a way that has become
the only way for me to do so.
